Spire Institute was established during 2008 under the name – GaREAT (Geneva Area Recreational, Educational, Athletic Trust). Ashtabula County businessman – Ron Clutter is the man behind its creation and in today’s date it is a much preferred name among the professional athletes, school teams and amateur athletes from all corners of the world. It is a three-building complex and includes a multi-purpose court surface encompassing 12 volleyball courts, six basketball courts, nine tennis courts and variety of gymnastic and mat sports along with a full-size indoor field for the purpose of rugby, baseball, field hockey, soccer, football and softball. Plus it is also equipped with an eight-lane, 300-meter indoor track; a 10-lane, 500-meter, Olympic-size pool; a separate field event area and a diving area with one and three meter boards and a 25-yard training pool.
